Remote Java/Typescript Engineer III

Description:

• Join the Email & Meetings Team at Vonage as a Full Stack Developer focusing on backend development.
• Contribute to the introduction of an email communication channel and oversee the Vonage meetings app.
• Collaborate with a team of early career full-stack developers to innovate and deliver communication solutions.
• Tackle end-to-end projects, ensuring scalability, compatibility, and robustness of applications.
• Lead projects, design, research, develop, and test functional and non-functional areas using Java expertise.
• Work on cutting-edge projects and deploy microservices-based applications through CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in full-stack development with a strong emphasis on Java.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and experience in modern web frameworks like Vue.js, AngularJS, or React.
• Extensive expertise in backend technologies including mandatory knowledge of Node.js.
• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, or Redis is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable, maintainable microservices.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deploying applications.
• Proven track record of leading end-to-end projects and collaborating effectively with global teams.
