Description:

• The company, CI&T, is seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer based in Colombia, experienced with Datadog, GCP, and OCI.
• The role involves implementing Datadog insights to optimize usage and costs through FinOps principles.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with teams to identify spending patterns, creating dashboards, providing recommendations, generating reports, assisting in adopting best practices for cost reduction, and providing technical support.
• The engineer will also document workflows, processes, and architectures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in the field.
• Strong expertise in Datadog, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in tagging and labeling for effective tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of FinOps principles and their application in cost optimization.
• Advanced English proficiency.
