• We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Python and AWS services, focusing on building and maintaining robust REST APIs.
• You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our backend systems.
• Key responsibilities include designing and developing backend systems using Python, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• You will deploy and manage backend services using AWS (Lambdas, Step Functions), ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• You will create and maintain RESTful APIs, adhering to Open API standards to enable seamless integration between various systems.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in software development and code reviews is essential.
• Implementing unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of backend systems is required.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to constantly improve backend development processes is expected.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio of backend systems and services is necessary.
• Proficiency in backend development using Python is essential.
• A strong understanding and experience with AWS services, specifically Lambdas and Step Functions, is required.
• Solid experience in creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of Open API standards, is necessary.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) is required.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are required.
