• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Python and AWS services, focusing on building and maintaining robust REST APIs.
• Key responsibilities include designing and developing backend systems using Python, deploying and managing backend services using AWS, creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, writing clean and efficient code, implementing unit and integration tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated with industry trends.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience of 5+ years as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio of backend systems and services is necessary.
• Proficiency in backend development using Python is essential.
• A strong understanding and experience with AWS services, specifically Lambdas and Step Functions, is required.
• Solid experience in creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of Open API standards, is necessary.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) is required.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are required.
• Additional experience with database management and designing database schemas is preferred.
• AWS certifications or other relevant technical certifications are a plus.
