Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with a strong focus on Angular to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia.
• The ideal candidate will play a critical role in building and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications, ensuring exceptional performance, scalability, and user experience.
• This position involves mentoring developers, leading frontend initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Primary responsibilities include building and maintaining Angular-based web applications, developing reusable and scalable UI components, optimizing frontend performance, and debugging complex issues.
• The candidate will maintain and improve the frontend architecture and collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Experience with micro UIs or micro frontend architecture is also required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience building and deploying large-scale, enterprise-grade web applications is essential.
• Core technical skills include proficiency with Angular (versions 8+ preferred), strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RxJS and reactive programming is required, along with familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend systems.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress is necessary, as well as knowledge of web performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The candidate must have the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and possess leadership qualities for mentoring developers.
• Experience conducting code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code is important, as well as the ability to lead frontend development initiatives and establish best practices.
• Adaptability to new tools, technologies, and challenges is also necessary.
• Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Webpack, Angular CLI, version control systems like Git, task management tools such as Jira, and knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
