Description:

CI&T is seeking a skilled Python Engineer/AWS ML Ops Expert to join their nearshore team working on a project for a client in the mortgage technology sector.
The role will focus on implementing and deploying intelligent systems that optimize the usage of expensive third-party verification APIs.
Responsibilities include building infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making around API call sequences and creating strategies that minimize unnecessary calls while maintaining effective verification processes.
The work will involve translating data science models into production systems that generate significant cost savings.
Key responsibilities include implementing and deploying machine learning models, building systems for real-time decision-making, developing infrastructure for tracking API call effectiveness, creating monitoring dashboards, implementing data pipelines, designing A/B testing systems, collaborating with data scientists, ensuring security and compliance, and optimizing serverless architecture.

Requirements:

Candidates must have solid experience in Python development and AWS services, particularly Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, and DynamoDB.
Experience in implementing systems that make real-time decisions based on data and business rules is required.
A strong understanding of ML Ops practices and model deployment is necessary.
Candidates should have experience building monitoring and logging systems for API usage and knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven systems is essential, along with version control expertise (Git).
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
The ability to work in a collaborative, remote environment is necessary.
