CI&T is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Java Developer to join their team in Colombia.

Key responsibilities include developing, testing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs using Java and related frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders to define technical solutions, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of applications, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting technical issues, and communicating effectively in English with global teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in developing, testing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs using Java and related frameworks.
Strong collaboration skills are required to work with stakeholders in defining technical solutions and implementing project requirements.
A solid understanding of scalability, reliability, and performance in applications is essential.
Candidates should be able to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Participation in code reviews and a commitment to knowledge sharing is expected.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary for collaboration with global teams.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with RESTful API design and implementation, knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), familiarity with microservices architecture, and an understanding of software development best practices, including CI/CD processes.
