Description:

CI&T is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Terraform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to develop cloud security blueprints that incorporate security best practices used by major companies globally.
The role involves creating deployable, reusable modules and policies that document specific security solutions.
Development work will be conducted on open source projects.
Candidates should have a strong experience with GCP services (2+ years) and infrastructure automation using Terraform (1+ years).
A solid background in software development with Java, Python, or Go (3+ years) is required.
Effective communication in English (CEFR B2) is necessary.
The candidate should demonstrate the ability to autonomously understand and develop demands from minimal requirements, showing continuous results and progress.
Problem-solving skills are essential, including the ability to test, investigate, analyze, and communicate issues.
The role requires proposing and discussing solutions while incorporating feedback.
The candidate must perform as a complete software engineer, from problem understanding to solution delivery, including manual and automated testing and technical writing.
The ability to automate and optimize development tasks is important.
A willingness to quickly learn and utilize different technologies is expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in infrastructure automation with Terraform is required.
A solid background in software development with at least 3 years of experience in Java, Python, or Go is necessary.
Candidates should be able to communicate in English at a CEFR B2 level or higher.
The ability to work autonomously and show continuous progress with minimal requirements is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to test, investigate, analyze, and communicate problems, are required.
