We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with generalized development experience, preferably in .Net Core, and Docker containerization experience, including Dockerfiles, compose files, and Linux familiarity.
ADO experience is a plus.
The candidate should have Kubernetes experience, including Deployments, Helm, Kustomize, and Istio (mesh and Gateway API).
This role requires a quick adopter and a key contributor who can work efficiently with little to no guidance.
The candidate should be able to make decisions and provide innovative solutions to ambiguous problems.
A strong ability to see the big picture and produce long-term solutions is essential.
The candidate will mentor junior-level team members and help them grow.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing high-quality DevOps solutions to meet customer needs.
The primary focus will be on DevOps, but the ability to understand or write code would be beneficial.

Requirements:

Strong experience in DevOps or software development, focusing on developing high-quality, scalable software applications.
Some programming skills in C#, .NET Core, and Microsoft SQL are required.
Experience with Docker and containerization concepts is necessary.
Experience with Kubernetes is required.
Experience with Azure Cloud or other cloud providers is necessary.
Experience with Cosmos DB or other related NoSQL technologies is a plus.
Experience with message-based architecture is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum is required.
Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure DevOps is necessary.
Experience with IaC concepts, templating, and scripting is a plus.
Familiarity with Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices is required.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail, are essential.
Strong English skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, are required.
