Description:

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with generalized development experience, preferably in .Net Core.
The candidate should have Docker containerization experience, including Dockerfiles, compose files, and familiarity with Linux; ADO experience is a plus.
Kubernetes experience is required, including Deployments, Helm, Kustomize, and Istio (mesh and Gateway API) is a plus.
This role requires a quick adopter who can work efficiently with little to no guidance and make decisions to provide innovative solutions to ambiguous problems.
The candidate should have a strong ability to see the big picture and produce long-term solutions while mentoring junior-level team members.
Responsibilities include designing and developing build and deployment pipelines using Azure Cloud technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean and efficient pipelines, and maintaining software and pipeline documentation.
The role also involves assisting with containerization of software assets, maintaining Kubernetes infrastructure, adhering to Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices, and debugging production issues.
Participation in Scrum ceremonies and staying updated with emerging trends in DevOps and CI/CD techniques is expected.
The candidate will mentor and train junior DevOps engineers.

Requirements:

Strong experience in DevOps or software development, focusing on developing high-quality, scalable software applications is required.
Some programming skills in C#, .NET Core, and Microsoft SQL are necessary.
Experience with Docker and containerization concepts is essential.
Experience with Kubernetes is required.
Familiarity with Azure Cloud or other cloud providers is necessary.
Experience with Cosmos DB or other related NoSQL technologies is a plus.
Experience with message-based architecture is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum is required.
Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure DevOps is necessary.
Knowledge of IaC concepts, templating, and scripting is a plus.
Familiarity with Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices is required.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail, are essential.
Strong English skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, are required.
