Description:
The Data Architect will be responsible for delivering modern data solutions for clients, including data ingestion, data pipeline design, and implementation.
The role involves designing and implementing data warehouse and data lake architectures, as well as cognitive computing and cloud services.
The candidate should have a passion for data and technology solutions and a drive to learn about market evolution.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of software development.
Requirements:
A minimum of 8 years of experience leading engagements from design to implementation of creative data solutions using Spark-based modern data platforms on public cloud.
At least 4 full lifecycle data platform deployments on Azure utilizing first-party services for Data and Analytics.
Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
Strong understanding of Azure foundation and cloud engineering concepts, including network, security, cost estimation, and common IaaS and PaaS services.
Proficiency in Spark, SQL, Data Modeling, and Data lakehouse concepts.
Programming and scripting experience in Python and Scala is required.
At least 6 years of experience architecting solutions for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources, including structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in analytics/data management strategy formulation, architectural blueprinting, and effort estimation.
At least 5 years of experience working in cloud or multi-server complex environments, with extensive experience in Azure.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executives.
Experience with Agile development methods in data-oriented projects is necessary.
Familiarity with Dashboarding and Reporting Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik is required.
Certifications in architecture, data engineering, and development from Azure are preferred.
Knowledge of software configuration management environments and tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, TFS, Shell, PowerShell, and Bitbucket is essential.
