Description:

• The Data Architect will be responsible for delivering modern data solutions for clients, including data ingestion, data pipeline design, and implementation.
• The role involves designing and implementing data warehouse and data lake architectures, as well as cognitive computing and cloud services.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience leading engagements from design to implementation of creative data solutions using Spark-based modern data platforms on public cloud.
• At least 4 full lifecycle data platform deployments on Azure utilizing first-party services for Data and Analytics.
• Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Strong understanding of Azure foundation and cloud engineering concepts, including network, security, cost estimation, and common IaaS and PaaS services.
• Proficiency in Spark, SQL, Data Modeling, and Data lakehouse concepts.
• Programming and scripting experience in Python and Scala is required.
• At least 6 years of experience architecting solutions for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources, including structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in analytics/data management strategy formulation, architectural blueprinting, and effort estimation.
• At least 5 years of experience working in cloud or multi-server complex environments, with extensive experience in Azure.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executives.
• Experience with Agile development methods in data-oriented projects is necessary.
• Familiarity with Dashboarding and Reporting Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik is required.
• Certifications in architecture, data engineering, and development from Azure are preferred.
• Knowledge of software configuration management environments and tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, TFS, Shell, PowerShell, and Bitbucket is essential.
