Remote Jr. Software Development Engineer for Test

Description:

• Work with software development teams to understand product specifications, features, and functionality.
• Analyze and identify suitable opportunities for test automation.
• Develop automation components/modules using appropriate tools and programming languages.
• Execute and manage automated test scripts/cases, logging and addressing identified issues.
• Monitor automated tests and test results to identify and report on defects.
• Integrate test automation with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery.
• Be an active participant in program increment (PI) planning, supporting test automation solution planning and estimation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automated test engineer with programming skills in common languages, such as Java and Ruby.
• Experience designing, creating, and executing automated tests via scripts using tools such as Selenium and Cucumber; knowledge of Cypress is a plus.
• Experience in prioritizing test cases for critical features, creating test scenarios & execution plans, and documenting automated test processes.
• Experience with the software development life cycle and automated testing.
• Experience with API testing.
• Clear understanding of QA Best Practices and familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®).
• Must live in the Continental US.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Depending on the government agency, specific requirements may include residency, citizenship, Public Trust background checks, or security clearance.
