Remote Junior AI Engineer

Description:

• Netguru is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to help entrepreneurs and innovators shape the world through beautiful software.
• The role involves implementing Azure OpenAI API for applications and RAG systems.
• The engineer will work with open source models to fine-tune and apply them for clients.
• Responsibilities include experimenting with different ML techniques and creating PoC and MVP of AI applications.
• The position also requires researching new techniques, models, and approaches to apply AI in various industries such as retail, healthcare, and finance.
• The job offers a long-term contract with a salary of up to PLN 7,200/month before tax for B2B contracts or up to PLN 6,000/month gross for contracts of employment.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have previous experience with software development, ideally 1-2 years of commercial experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript is required.
• Familiarity with PyTorch and Tensorflow is necessary.
• Candidates should have knowledge of OpenAI API and Azure OpenAI API.
• Understanding of how RAG, embeddings, and vector databases work is essential.
• A solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques is required.
• Nice to have qualifications include experience with Azure ML and Firebase or Supabase.
• Familiarity with open source GPT models, such as llama and mistral, is a plus.
• Candidates should provide examples in their portfolio using ML models like GPT and Stable Diffusion.
• An AI Certification, such as AI-900 or AI-102, is also considered a nice to have.
