Remote Junior Back End Engineer

• minware is seeking a Junior Back End Engineer to work directly with the founders in building the product from scratch.
• The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers and customers to define capabilities, architecting new system components, and managing tech debt reduction.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have experience in building and maintaining complex back end applications.
• Familiarity with high-quality code principles, including continuous integration, declarative and functional programming, is required.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with non-technical stakeholders and customers.
• Proficiency in agile or lean planning and project management processes is essential.
• Preferred experience with the core stack (Postgres, Next.js, Apollo GraphQL) or similar technologies.
• Optional but beneficial to have proficiency with infrastructure (AWS, Terraform).
