Remote Junior BI Analyst (US Retail, WFH)

Description:

• The Junior BI Analyst position is a full-time role based in the Philippines, working from home.
• The salary for this position ranges from P70,000 to P80,000 monthly.
• The work schedule is from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM EST.
• Responsibilities include conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• The analyst will develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• The role involves utilizing SQL and Azure to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources while supporting data integrity and quality assurance processes.
• The analyst will apply Python and Excel expertise for data analysis and light data science tasks, including statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• The analyst will present findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely and assist in developing documentation and training materials for end-users.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Data Science.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Power BI, is necessary.
• Strong skills in Python and Excel for data manipulation and analysis are required.
• Experience with SQL and Azure for data querying and management is essential.
• Previous experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role is a nice-to-have.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of R or other data science tools is a plus.
• Experience working in a retail or marketing environment is advantageous.
