Remote Junior Business Intelligence Analyst (US Retail, WFH)

Description:

• The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst position is a full-time role based in the Philippines, allowing for work from home.
• The salary for this position ranges from P70,000 to P80,000 monthly.
• The work schedule is from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM EST.
• Responsibilities include conducting data analysis to identify trends and insights that support business objectives.
• The analyst will develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• The role involves utilizing SQL and Azure for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from various sources, while supporting data integrity and quality assurance processes.
• Technical skills required include applying Python and Excel for data analysis and light data science tasks, including statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Communication skills are essential for presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders and assisting in the development of documentation and training materials for end-users.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Data Science.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Power BI, is necessary.
• Strong skills in Python and Excel for data manipulation and analysis are required.
• Experience with SQL and Azure for data querying and management is essential.
• Previous experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role is a nice-to-have.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of R or other data science tools is considered a plus.
• Experience working in a retail or marketing environment is advantageous.
