The role is for a junior-level full-stack/backend engineer with a solid background in financial applications and relevant backend technologies such as Typescript, NodeJS, Python, databases, cloud services, and network infrastructure.
Candidates should be familiar with decentralized applications on the Ethereum blockchain and centralized crypto applications.
The position requires a passion for building highly scalable, resilient, and performant software systems for the next generation of financial applications.
Responsibilities include building highly available backend systems, designing software systems for complex on-chain data, architecting backend APIs, engineering data pipelines, developing bots or smart contracts, and collaborating with frontend teams.
The role also involves writing clean code, participating in code reviews, mentoring other engineers, and utilizing best practices in a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in fintech or a related financial field.
A minimum of 2+ years of software engineering experience in Typescript and NodeJS is required.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience building scalable solutions on top of Cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Exceptional proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS, and relevant backend technologies is necessary.
Understanding of Solidity, Python, Rust, and other backend programming languages is preferred.
Experience with containerized technologies like Docker and familiarity with automated testing, DevOps best practices, and CI/CD pipelines is important.
Strong fundamentals in computer science, software design patterns, and networking are required.
Candidates should have a passion for DeFi, game theory, mechanism design, and other web3 concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally are essential.
A self-starter attitude with a desire to take ownership, learn new skills, and mentor others is expected.
