Description:

The position is for a Junior Cloud Engineer, specifically an Azure Developer, working remotely for a contracted period of 8 months.
The role involves developing and maintaining web and Windows applications for both internal users and external constituents.
Key responsibilities include designing and coding new applications, interfacing with Cloud Services, and supporting Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
The engineer will collaborate with contractors and staff to ensure applications meet customer requirements and support the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.
The role requires utilizing technologies such as C#, .NET Framework & Core, MVC & WebForms, Web Services, SQL, Git, and JavaScript.
The engineer will also use tools like Jira and Azure DevOps while ensuring application security best practices are followed.
Mobile and responsive design methodologies may be applied as needed.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3 years of documented Azure experience with the ability to work independently on complex tasks.
A strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure DevOps, is required for at least 3 years.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, Java, or Node.js for 3 years is necessary.
Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep for provisioning cloud resources for 3 years is required.
Candidates should have 3 years of knowledge in DevOps, CI/CD, and GitHub actions.
A working knowledge of Azure Functions and Logic Apps for 3 years is essential.
Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and storage solutions for 3 years is required.
Candidates must understand identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, OAuth, etc.), networking security, and compliance best practices for 3 years.
Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and working with API management for 3 years is necessary.
Candidates should have 3 years of experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills for 3 years are required.
The ability to work in Agile teams and communicate technical concepts effectively for 3 years is essential.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a DevOps culture for 3 years is required.
