Remote Junior Data Analyst

Description:

• Pion is seeking an experienced Junior Data Analyst to join their centralized data team, which is crucial for providing internal teams with essential information and data for product and commercial decisions.
• Responsibilities include triaging requests within the Jira inbox by prioritizing them based on business requirements, responding to ad hoc queries, and communicating with stakeholders to understand their requirements or concerns.
• The role involves investigating potential issues and discrepancies across systems and reports, performance monitoring, quality assurance and reporting checks, gathering requirements for new reports and small analyses, building reports and dashboards in BI tools, and conducting some SQL-based analysis in Count.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have experience building reports and dashboards in off-the-shelf BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, Looker, or Lightdash.
• SQL proficiency is essential, and there will be a SQL test as part of the recruitment process.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
• Candidates should demonstrate proactivity and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Experience working as a Data Analyst within a data team is necessary.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams is preferred.
• Candidates should have experience building alerting systems.
