Remote Junior Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Description:

• Bitly is looking for a skilled Junior Data Engineer to join the Engineering team and play a crucial role in supporting the data infrastructure and pipeline.
• Responsibilities include architecting, building, and maintaining infrastructure to deliver data to customers and transform global traffic data into insights.
• You will work on a Data Platform to provide data to a global DWH and support companywide tools with operational data.
• The role involves maintaining data pipelines that power internal teams and working with a global team to process a vast amount of data.
• Collaborate with Senior Data Engineers, write well-tested code, build new services, create data pipelines, design APIs, and work with various data tools.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English.
• Solid understanding of SQL, relational and analytical database management, and good knowledge of Python.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and business counterparts.
• Active listener with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Curious mindset, creativity, team player with a positive attitude.
• Experience with Go (Golang), Scrum, BI and visualization tools, and Terraform.
