Description:

Automatiq is seeking a motivated and talented Junior DevOps Engineer to assist in managing and automating their cloud infrastructure.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and networking while working alongside experienced DevOps Engineers.
The company is a fast-growing event ticketing technology firm that values Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and Kubernetes.
The position is remote and full-time, with a salary range of $95,000 - $100,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

Requirements:

Candidates must have the ability to understand basic AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, and Load Balancers.
Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation is required.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, preferably EKS, for container orchestration is necessary.
A basic knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPC, VPNs, and routing is essential.
Experience with GitHub for version control, pull requests, and repository management is needed.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins is required.
An understanding of monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus is important.
Candidates should have experience with Python or Bash for scripting and automation.
The ability to troubleshoot and assist in optimizing cloud and containerized environments is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for automation are essential.
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a product, engineering, development, or technical delivery position is required.
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Business, IT, or a correlated discipline is preferred, although commensurate experience is also accepted.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $100,000 per year.
