Description:
The Junior DevOps Engineer will assist in managing AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure under the guidance of senior team members.
This role involves supporting the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or other automation tools.
The engineer will learn and assist in managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
Responsibilities include supporting autoscaling solutions to optimize resource usage and cost-effectiveness.
The position requires helping to deploy and maintain monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and the ELK stack.
The engineer will work with senior engineers to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
Troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues is a key responsibility.
The role involves following security best practices and compliance standards in the cloud environment.
Collaboration with team members to improve DevOps workflows and deployment strategies is essential.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 0-1 year of experience or a strong academic background in AWS and/or GCP.
A basic knowledge of Jenkins, Kubernetes, and containerization is required.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and a willingness to learn automation tools is necessary.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog is expected.
Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages are required.
An eagerness to learn Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are important.
