Description:
We invite a skilled and motivated Information Security Specialist to join Dev.Pro’s Security Team and help strengthen the protection of our company, contractors, and clients.
This position requires a responsible, organized individual who will actively contribute to our security monitoring and incident response activities, ensuring enhanced defenses and effective risk management.
In this role, you’ll help safeguard our systems, identify and address vulnerabilities, and respond promptly to security incidents reported by our contractors in Latin America.
You will respond to alerts generated by the SIEM system, process and investigate phishing and email reports, resolve EDR (antimalware) alerts and issues, participate in the vendor assessment process, collaborate closely with Dev.Pro’s IT Support and Information Security teams to ensure effective security operations, and document security activities and incidents for future analysis.
Requirements:
Understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and cybersecurity basics is essential.
Proven experience with security tools such as IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners is required.
Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and investigating security alerts is necessary.
Knowledge of security best practices in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including understanding of IAM, workloads, and keys, is important.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker is preferred.
Understanding of common attack vectors and threat actor techniques is required.
An intermediate+ English level is necessary.
A strong interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to develop skills in one or more cybersecurity domains is essential.
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages like Python is desirable.
Completed certifications or training programs in cybersecurity, incident response, or related areas is a plus.
