Description:

  • The Junior iOS Engineer will be responsible for actively developing and maintaining key features of the Midnite iOS app to ensure smooth performance and top-notch quality.
  • They will work closely with a collaborative team to define, design, and launch new features, contributing to a truly intuitive and immersive user experience.
  • The role involves identifying and resolving performance issues, debugging, and maintaining the overall quality and organization of the codebase while adhering to rigorous testing practices.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Proficiency with Swift, experience with SwiftUI, and some familiarity with UIKit are required.
  • Familiarity with REST and working with APIs, as well as experience in writing unit tests, is necessary.
  • Good understanding of code versioning tools like Git and familiarity with thread safety, GCD, and actors are important.
  • Desirable experience includes knowledge of different architectures, websocket messaging, continuous integration, unit testing, UI/snapshot testing, interest in modular architecture, and experience with performance optimization.
