Remote Junior iOS Engineer

Description:

• Pion is seeking a passionate Junior iOS Engineer to join their Software Development team as part of their growth plans.
• The role involves working within a cross-functional squad in an Agile environment to deliver products and features for the Student Beans app.
• Responsibilities include participating in squad stand-ups and ceremonies, collaborating with team members, conducting code reviews, and turning requirements into functional code.
• The engineer will write tests to ensure code reliability, raise issues to the wider Guild, and communicate proactively with the squad.
• The position requires prioritizing workload in alignment with business and squad goals and contributing new ideas and technologies during Guild meetings.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have current experience coding in SwiftUI or Swift.
• Experience with unit testing is required.
• A passion for iOS development and an interest in keeping up with the latest technologies is essential.
• A positive attitude towards working in a cross-functional squad within an Agile environment is necessary.
• Experience with continuous integration is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Graph QL is helpful but not essential.
• Experience with Viper or MVVM architecture is preferred.
