Description:

  • AssistIQ is focused on creating a more efficient and transparent healthcare supply chain by providing accurate data and insights on supply usage.
  • The Junior IOS Software Engineer will be responsible for building new functionality and enhancing existing features of AssistIQ's IOS platform.
  • Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and aim to simplify the user experience of the solution.
  • The role requires juggling multiple responsibilities, prioritizing deliverables, and effective communication across the organization.
  • The position demands knowledge, articulation, and the ability to collaborate with peers and senior executives while delivering results in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Responsibilities include being a key member of the mobile team, designing and developing mobile app functionalities, monitoring the mobile platform, investigating issues, and streamlining deployment processes.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in software development.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with React or React Native frameworks is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in building mobile iOS applications is necessary.
  • Candidates should have 1 year of experience in monitoring, supporting, and enhancing production applications.
  • A Computer Science degree, relevant diploma, or demonstrable work experience is required.
  • Strong command of Javascript/Typescript and Swift or Objective-C is essential.
  • Understanding of the IOS SDK is necessary.
  • Candidates should have knowledge of SQL and NOSQL datastores, such as SQLite and Firestore.
  • Familiarity with mobile monitoring tools like Crashlytics or Sentry is required.
  • Understanding of mobile device management (MDM) platforms is considered an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory, while French communication skills are an asset.
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
