Remote Junior React/Node.js Engineer

Description:

• The position is for a Junior React/Node.js Engineer at Softermii, a remote outsourcing/outstaffing company with over 8 years of experience in web and mobile application development.
• Responsibilities include designing and developing software, refactoring and optimizing code, troubleshooting and debugging application code, participating in all phases of the development lifecycle, and collaborating with the team.
• The company uses tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and Figma.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have an understanding of OOP principles, functional programming, SOLID, KISS, and DRY.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+, is required.
• Experience with React, including application state management (e.g., Redux, Redux Toolkit, MobX, or Context API), is necessary.
• Practical experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express or NestJS is essential.
• Candidates should have practical experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL, along with knowledge of database design fundamentals and experience with ORM.
• Knowledge of RESTful services is required.
• An upper-intermediate level of English is necessary.
