• Algolia is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their Optimisation team remotely in France.
• The team focuses on providing Analytics and AB testing features to help customers measure the impact of Algolia and optimize their configuration.
• The role involves contributing to the design, development, and operation of the Optimisation system at scale.
• Responsibilities include ensuring the quality and soundness of the system and collaborating with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve high impact issues.
• The ideal candidate should have a deep curiosity for Computer Science, with a focus on data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• One year of work experience or internships is a plus.
• Strong emphasis on high code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
• Experience working on distributed backends and designing major components is desired.
• Proficiency in Golang and databases at scale is required.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English is a must.
