Remote Junior Software Engineer (Backend)

Description:

• Contribute to the backend development of Telcoin’s existing core remittance platform and digital wallet.
• Contribute to the solution’s end-to-end architecture, primarily involving Rust development.
• Interface with blockchain, UI, Android, iOS, and partner API integrations.
• Integrate external, third party financial systems and/or banks into the Telcoin platform.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of production experience in Rust, C++, Go, or another strongly typed language.
• Proficiency with Rust programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms preferred.
• Experience with SQL and its variation among popular databases.
• Strong ability to meet project milestones and work with teams in different time zones.
• Ability to translate software requirements into stable, working, high-performing software.
• Capability to write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
