The role involves working within the Betting division on technical and product-focused initiatives to enhance Sportsbook and Risk Management products.
The Junior Software Engineer will be part of a high-performance team, contributing to the development of innovative solutions in sports betting.
Responsibilities include building distributed, real-time systems using modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
The position emphasizes collaboration within a multi-disciplinary Agile team, focusing on continuous delivery and high performance.
The engineer will innovate, architect, deliver, and maintain industry-revolutionizing products while adhering to Agile principles and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Candidates must have an understanding of at least one object-oriented programming language, such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Python, PHP, Golang, or C++.
A solid grasp of good software design principles, including information hiding, abstraction, module design, cohesion, and coupling, is required.
Knowledge of testing methodologies and the ability to design high-quality testing suites that are resilient to implementation changes is essential.
Familiarity with C# and broader software architecture knowledge, including architectural patterns for scalable, fault-tolerant microservices, is advantageous.
Experience with continuous integration, pipeline design, containerized workloads, and infrastructure as code is preferred.
Knowledge of operating Kubernetes clusters, building cloud-native applications, and messaging technologies is beneficial.
Skills in front-end web technologies, Domain Driven Design, mathematical aptitude (particularly statistics), and data engineering are also advantageous.
Candidates should demonstrate curiosity, strong social skills, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first environment.
Excellent spoken and written English is required, along with adherence to core engineering principles.
