Description:
The Junior Software Engineer at Flashtalking focuses on developing backend software applications for the ad server, crucial for managing ad campaigns and ensuring business profitability.
Responsibilities include building reliable and scalable backend software, collaborating with teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, designing APIs for external and internal applications, and maintaining efficient asynchronous processes.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Java and understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Willingness to learn and work with Kotlin.
Strong fundamentals in computer programming, including time and space complexity analysis.
Ability to work independently and as a team player, with excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with git, REST APIs, relational databases, and prior experience with technologies like Spring Boot, Cypress/Playwright testing, Docker/Containers, Terraform, or AWS resources are a plus.
Flexibility in working with different platforms, frameworks, and languages.
