Description:

Telnyx is seeking a Junior Software Engineer with expertise in Python to join their remote team.
The role involves building highly available low latency microservices from scratch using cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities include designing developer-friendly APIs, building, testing, and deploying applications for global communications services, and identifying and resolving issues related to latency, scalability, and performance.
The engineer will create tools to automate aspects of production systems and will work within a fast-paced environment alongside a dedicated Python team.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 1-2 years of professional software development experience with an object-oriented programming language.
Experience in web application development using Python is required.
Comfort working with relational databases at scale is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in a highly-available, uptime-critical production environment.
A deep knowledge of microservice architecture patterns and anti-patterns is essential.
Familiarity with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Jenkins, Prometheus, or RabbitMQ is required.
