Remote Junior Software Test Specialist

Description:

• The Junior Software Test Specialist role at Igloo involves working closely with the quality and release team to detect regressions in existing features and thoroughly test new features to ensure quality throughout the application's growth.
• Responsibilities include writing and executing test cases for new features, writing detailed bug reports, maintaining existing test cases, verifying bug fixes, and contributing to automated test development.
• The role requires collaboration with QA and Development teams, test management, and test reporting using Xray and Jira.
• The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of Quality Assurance or Software Testing experience, experience with test case management frameworks like Xray, a passion for improving user experience, critical thinking skills, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of Quality Assurance or Software Testing experience.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases, potentially using a Test Case Management Framework like Xray.
• Passion for thoroughly testing software to enhance user experience.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a self-starter attitude.
