Description:
Appsilon is seeking a Junior Support Engineer to join their Platform Engineering Team, responsible for resolving L1 through L3 incidents and supporting internal project teams.
The role involves collecting information, creating reports, managing client relations, resolving system defects, and contributing to process improvements.
The Junior Support Engineer will work remotely and must be comfortable with a remote-first working culture.
Responsibilities include updating documentation, promoting best practices, and working on multiple projects simultaneously.
The position requires working in a specific time zone: 8 PM-4 AM Eastern time (ET), UTC + 8.
Requirements:
Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role or HelpDesk, or a Computer Science degree.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
Applicants must be proactive, detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of working in a client-facing role.
Experience with Linux, basic System Admin skills, and remote work is required.
The ability to work in a specific time zone is mandatory.
