Remote Junior Web Developer - East Coast

Description:

• The Junior Web Developer will join the marketing team at SmartRecruiters.
• Responsibilities include assisting in building and maintaining websites, implementing new design features, and supporting marketing initiatives.
• The role reports to the Senior Manager of Web Development and is part of a two-person team within the Marketing Operations department.
• The candidate should have a solid understanding of web technologies and design to create user-friendly web experiences.
• Tasks include assisting with website and application design, implementing new web features, conducting testing and maintenance, converting multimedia elements, monitoring website performance, creating HTML emails, integrating web forms, and staying updated with web development trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in web development.
• Experience with Marketo and WordPress.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web service technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
