Remote Junior Web Developer - East Coast

Description:

• The Junior Web Developer will join the marketing team at SmartRecruiters to assist in building and maintaining websites, implementing new design features, and supporting marketing initiatives.
• Reporting to the Senior Manager of Web Development, the candidate will work in a two-person team within the Marketing Operations department.
• Responsibilities include assisting with website and application design, implementing new web features based on feedback, conducting testing and maintenance, converting multimedia elements, monitoring website performance, creating HTML emails, integrating web forms, and staying updated with web development trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in web development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web service technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
