Community Sports Partners is one of the largest and fastest-growing private youth sports operators in the GTA.
The company is dedicated to providing fun, engaging experiences that create lasting memories for the youth and families in their communities.
They are looking for a Junior Web Developer who is passionate about web design and development.
The primary focus of this role is on building high-converting landing pages and enhancing the website's front-end experience.
This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates eager to gain experience in web development, particularly in UI/UX design and front-end technologies, with some exposure to back-end programming.
Responsibilities include designing and developing visually appealing, responsive landing pages and website components.
The role also involves optimizing front-end designs for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
Implementing UI/UX best practices to improve user experience and engagement is essential.
The Junior Web Developer will collaborate with the design and marketing teams to align website updates with brand goals.
Minor back-end updates to support landing page functionality using basic PHP and SQL are required.
Conducting A/B testing to analyze and improve user interactions is part of the job.
Debugging and troubleshooting front-end issues to ensure smooth website performance is necessary.
Staying up to date with the latest web design trends and technologies is expected.
Requirements:
Basic experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development is necessary.
An understanding of UI/UX principles and basic design concepts is essential.
Basic knowledge of back-end technologies such as PHP and SQL for minor updates is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment is required.

Benefits:
Compensation for this position ranges from $1200 to $1600 USD per month, depending on experience.
