Remote Junior/Mid DevOps Engineer (Fully Remote)

Description:

• The Junior/Mid DevOps Engineer position at EXUS AI Labs involves supporting large-scale Research and Innovation Projects in AI, data analytics, real-time systems engineering, complex event processing, and large-scale cloud implementations.
• The role includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to drive innovation in sectors like banking, security, health, finance, creativity, and lifelong learning.
• Responsibilities include managing software infrastructure, addressing everyday problems, and societal challenges.

Requirements:

• Main duties:

  • Building and deploying application code to cloud and on-premises servers through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborating with software development teams and providing infrastructure support.
  • Ensuring robust, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient deployments.
  • Infrastructure management and system administration by maintaining servers, storage, and networking resources.
  • Collaborating with the IT team to troubleshoot issues and automate continuous processes.

• Required Skills:

  • BSc degree in Computer Science (MSc studies appreciated).
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Git, Docker, and Shell Scripting.
  • Strong experience in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Experience in Kubernetes.

• Preferred Skills:

  • Strong experience in deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• General skills:

  • Excellent English language skills (verbal & written).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Team player, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
