Remote Junior/Mid DevOps Engineer (Fully Remote)

Description:

• EXUS AI Labs, the R&D department of EXUS, focuses on designing and developing AI solutions for big data analytics across various sectors.
• The company has over 25 years of experience in managing research activities and is involved in projects funded by H2020 and Innovate UK.
• The DevOps Engineer will work on large-scale Research and Innovation Projects related to AI, data analytics, real-time systems engineering, complex event processing, and cloud implementations.
• The role involves supporting projects in Security, Health, and Creativity sectors, as well as debt collections software for financial institutions in over 40 countries.
• The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with Engineers, Data Scientists, and innovation management Experts to drive innovation in software engineering, AI, and data analytics.

Requirements:

• Building and deploying application code to cloud and on-premises servers through CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborating with software development teams to provide infrastructure support and ensure robust, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient deployments.
• Managing infrastructure and system administration by maintaining servers, storage, and networking resources.
• Collaborating with the IT team to troubleshoot issues and automate continuous processes and practices.
• Required Skills:
  • BSc degree in Computer Science (MSc studies appreciated).
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Git, Docker, Shell Scripting.
  • Strong experience in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Experience in Kubernetes.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Strong experience in deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Experience in monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• General skills:
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal & written).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Team player, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
