Remote Junior/Mid DevOps Engineer (Fully Remote)

Description:

• The Junior/Mid DevOps Engineer position at EXUS AI Labs involves supporting large-scale Research and Innovation Projects in AI, data analytics, real-time systems engineering, complex event processing, and large-scale cloud implementations.
• The role includes working on projects in sectors such as Security, Health, and Creativity, as well as supporting globally leading debt collections software for financial institutions in over 40 countries.
• You will collaborate with Engineers, Data Scientists, and innovation management Experts to drive innovation in software engineering, AI, and data analytics in sectors like banking, security, health, finance, creativity, and lifelong learning.
• As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage software infrastructure to address individual and societal challenges, ensuring robust, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient deployments.

Requirements:

• Building and deploying application code to cloud and on-premises servers through CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborating with software development teams to provide infrastructure support and ensure efficient deployments.
• Managing infrastructure and system administration by maintaining servers, storage, and networking resources, troubleshooting issues, and automating processes.
• Holding a BSc degree in Computer Science (MSc studies appreciated) and having at least two years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Proficiency in Git, Docker, Shell Scripting, CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform, and experience in Kubernetes.
• Preferred skills include strong experience in deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• General skills required are excellent English language proficiency, strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, self-motivation, and a continuous learning mindset.
