Description:

  • The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid, 10-week experiential learning program that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits across the country.
  • Interns will participate in virtual professional development sessions every Thursday from 1-5 pm ET, where they will be mentored by seasoned professionals and work on a capstone project.
  • Interns will receive a stipend of either $5,500 for full-time (40 hours/week) or $3,300 for part-time (28 hours/week) participation.
  • Atlas Network is seeking a Development Intern to assist the fundraising team, reporting directly to the Strategic Partnership Advisor.
  • The intern will support various day-to-day activities and maintain the integrity of internal records and databases.
  • The role involves working on high-priority projects and interacting with key stakeholders, including donors, board members, and senior leadership.
  • Key responsibilities include managing the donor database (Salesforce), processing donations, preparing acknowledgments, conducting research, and providing support for fundraising events.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Suite programs is required; experience with CRM databases like Salesforce is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates must demonstrate initiative and motivation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • The ability to organize and prioritize tasks across multiple projects is necessary.
  • Candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A data and deadline-driven mindset with attention to detail is required.
  • An interest in Atlas Network’s mission and international issues is important.
  • A positive attitude is essential for this role.
