Description:
The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid, 10-week experiential learning program that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits across the country.
Interns will participate in virtual professional development sessions every Thursday from 1-5 pm ET, where they will be mentored by seasoned professionals and work on a capstone project.
Interns will receive a stipend of either $5,500 for full-time (40 hours/week) or $3,300 for part-time (28 hours/week) participation.
Atlas Network is seeking a Development Intern to assist the fundraising team, reporting directly to the Strategic Partnership Advisor.
The intern will support various day-to-day activities and maintain the integrity of internal records and databases.
The role involves working on high-priority projects and interacting with key stakeholders, including donors, board members, and senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include managing the donor database (Salesforce), processing donations, preparing acknowledgments, conducting research, and providing support for fundraising events.
Requirements:
Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Suite programs is required; experience with CRM databases like Salesforce is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates must demonstrate initiative and motivation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a professional demeanor in all interactions.
The ability to organize and prioritize tasks across multiple projects is necessary.
Candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
A data and deadline-driven mindset with attention to detail is required.
An interest in Atlas Network’s mission and international issues is important.
A positive attitude is essential for this role.
