Remote Kubernetes Software Engineer

Description:

• Mirantis is looking for a Software Engineer (Kubernetes) to join their product team in Helsinki, Finland or Europe area, with the option to work remotely.
• The role involves contributing to the development of k0smotron, k0s, and related upstream OSS projects.
• Responsibilities include integrating new features from the cloud native technologies landscape into Mirantis Kubernetes products, staying updated on container technology developments, and acting as a cloud native software and technologies expert within the company.
• The tech stack includes Kubernetes, ClusterAPI, Golang, Linux, cloud providers, Github Actions, k0s, and K0smotron.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Kubernetes, preferably deep knowledge.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes ClusterAPI.
• Proficiency in Golang for software development.
• Experience in Linux, VMs, containers, and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong engineering background with a significant track record on Github.
• Value pragmatism and result-oriented team and project work.
• Good communication skills in English.
