Brazoderecho is seeking a Kubernetes Tech Lead with 5 to 8 years of experience in relevant technology.

The position involves designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments including development, testing, and production.

The Tech Lead will implement and maintain container orchestration best practices and troubleshoot Kubernetes-related issues.
Automating routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools is part of the job.
Collaboration with development teams to deploy and manage containerized applications is expected.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and concepts, as well as experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash is required.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and GitLab is necessary.
The role includes designing and implementing Istio service meshes for complex microservices environments and configuring Istio for traffic management, security, and reliability.
The candidate will monitor cluster health and capacity and set up monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Integration with AWS networking services (VPC, Route 53, ALB/NLB) is part of the responsibilities.
The Tech Lead will also implement and enforce security best practices for EKS clusters and develop front-end web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in relevant technology is required.
Knowledge of Agile principles and practices is a must.
A solid understanding of object-oriented programming is essential.
Experience in Kubernetes administration and Amazon EKS is required.
Proficiency in GoLang, Helm2, Kube-AWS, Unix, Shell scripting, and Istio is preferred.
Good English verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
The ability to communicate effectively with remote teams is important.
The candidate should be able to work independently and multitask.
Adherence to project schedules and ensuring quality deliverables is expected.
