Description:

  • The position is for an L2 Technical Support Consultant & Backend Engineer in Brazil, specializing in derivatives and capital markets risk management.
  • Responsibilities include staying updated with cutting-edge technology, providing L2 support to customers, developing and maintaining backend systems using Java/Spring Boot and MongoDB, gathering technical information to resolve complex issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and communicating with developers and other IT departments.
  • The role involves working with sensitive customer information and maintaining knowledge of the client's products and services.

Requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills (at least C1 for both spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot and MongoDB.
  • Good understanding of on-premise IT infrastructure, load balancers, queues, and clustering.
  • Positive, friendly, enthusiastic, pragmatic, and caring attitude with a can-do approach.
  • Personal laptop or computer with at least 8Gb of RAM and a stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download and 40 Mbps upload).

Will be a great plus:

  • Experience with Kafka, Groovy, and container environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
  • Knowledge of performance tuning techniques.
  • Understanding of financial sector derivatives.
