Description:
The position is for an L2 Technical Support Consultant & Backend Engineer in Brazil, specializing in derivatives and capital markets risk management.
Responsibilities include staying updated with cutting-edge technology, providing L2 support to customers, developing and maintaining backend systems using Java/Spring Boot and MongoDB, gathering technical information to resolve complex issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and communicating with developers and other IT departments.
The role involves working with sensitive customer information and maintaining knowledge of the client's products and services.
Requirements:
Excellent English communication skills (at least C1 for both spoken and written).
Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot and MongoDB.
Good understanding of on-premise IT infrastructure, load balancers, queues, and clustering.
Positive, friendly, enthusiastic, pragmatic, and caring attitude with a can-do approach.
Personal laptop or computer with at least 8Gb of RAM and a stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download and 40 Mbps upload).
Will be a great plus:
Experience with Kafka, Groovy, and container environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
Knowledge of performance tuning techniques.
Understanding of financial sector derivatives.
