The LIMS Developer will design and implement Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to enhance lab operations.
Responsibilities include developing and customizing LIMS software to meet laboratory needs, optimizing workflows in collaboration with laboratory teams, and integrating LIMS with lab instruments and external software.
The position requires ensuring data security and compliance with regulatory standards, creating reporting and data visualization tools, and providing ongoing support and maintenance for the LIMS platform.
The developer will stay updated with advancements in LIMS technology and laboratory trends.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in designing and developing LIMS systems or similar laboratory management platforms is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or Perl, along with experience in building APIs and database solutions (SQL, PostgreSQL) is necessary.
A deep understanding of laboratory workflows, including sample management and regulatory compliance, is essential.
Experience in integrating LIMS with lab instruments and familiarity with laboratory automation systems is required.
Knowledge of data security protocols and regulatory requirements like FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 17025 is important.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in LIMS development being highly valued.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in LIMS development, with hands-on experience in laboratory environments, is necessary.
