Description:

  • The LATAM Angular Engineer position at Praxent involves working on projects to modernize customer-facing software applications in the financial services industry.
  • The role is remote and allows employees to work from various locations in Latin America, including Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, and Argentina.
  • Responsibilities include transforming legacy systems, maximizing engineering productivity, building complex applications at scale, and utilizing skills such as human-centered design, web & mobile development, systems integration, DevSecOps, cloud, and data architecture.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience developing user-facing applications across multiple platforms.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with Angular framework and similar frameworks is required.
  • Experience working with a UI/UX design team and implementing complex visuals is necessary.
  • Knowledge of front-end languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, along with RESTful APIs, is essential.
  • Proficiency in creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components is required.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools like Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD Delivery pipelines and the ability to solve complex software development problems are necessary.
  • Previous experience working in software teams with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to communicate technical topics effectively within the team and document technical requirements.
