Description:
The LATAM Angular Engineer position at Praxent involves working on projects to modernize customer-facing software applications in the financial services industry.
The role is remote and allows employees to work from various locations in Latin America, including Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, and Argentina.
Responsibilities include transforming legacy systems, maximizing engineering productivity, building complex applications at scale, and utilizing skills such as human-centered design, web & mobile development, systems integration, DevSecOps, cloud, and data architecture.
Requirements:
Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience developing user-facing applications across multiple platforms.
A minimum of 4 years of experience with Angular framework and similar frameworks is required.
Experience working with a UI/UX design team and implementing complex visuals is necessary.
Knowledge of front-end languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, along with RESTful APIs, is essential.
Proficiency in creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components is required.
Familiarity with automated testing tools like Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor is preferred.
Experience with CI/CD Delivery pipelines and the ability to solve complex software development problems are necessary.
Previous experience working in software teams with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to communicate technical topics effectively within the team and document technical requirements.
