Description:
The position is for a Principal Software Engineer (AI) at Praxent, a company focused on modernizing financial services software applications.
The role is remote, allowing employees to work from locations in Mexico, El Salvador, and Brazil.
The primary mission is to lead development teams to ensure sprint commitments are met.
Responsibilities include fostering a collaborative environment for AI/ML learning, driving the design and implementation of AI solutions, establishing AI testing and validation best practices, providing clear direction on project scope, mentoring developers on AI coding standards, proposing new processes to improve delivery, and conducting recruiting interviews.
Daily activities involve planning, delegating tasks, and maintaining communication with delivery leads and clients to ensure project efficiency and clarity.
Requirements:
Candidates must have expertise in programming AI solutions, including experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and cloud-based AI services.
A minimum of 8-12 years of professional experience in relevant technology and projects is required, including technical leadership in DevOps and Cloud-Based deployment.
Experience presenting to client stakeholders and articulating complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of the business outcomes impacted by development projects and experience in coaching and mentoring.
Relevant education may include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
