Description:

  • The position is for a Principal Software Engineer specializing in React and Node, working remotely from locations in Mexico.
  • The role involves leading development teams to ensure sprint commitments are met.
  • Responsibilities include cultivating camaraderie, ensuring core values are upheld across projects, and architecting complex systems.
  • The engineer will conduct technical reviews, address performance issues, and improve delivery processes.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in building user interfaces, data-driven REST APIs, and administering databases/cloud/servers.
  • A minimum of 8-12 years of professional experience in relevant technologies, including value engineering, system architecture, and technical leadership in DevOps and cloud-based deployment is required.
  • Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, and Angular is essential, along with experience in building scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
  • Experience in presenting to client stakeholders and articulating the business outcomes of development projects is necessary.
  • Candidates should have mentorship experience, including coaching and conducting structured code reviews.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
