Description:

  • The LATAM Senior Fullstack Software Engineer position at Praxent involves working on a wide variety of projects in the financial services industry, helping clients modernize their customer-facing software applications.
  • The role is remote and allows employees to work from various locations in Latin America, including Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, and Argentina.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in building client-side software applications and user interfaces, working with modern component-based frameworks and state management solutions, and understanding full-stack solutions.
  • Proficiency in consuming or building backend APIs, familiarity with Linux/Unix command line, and experience with web tooling and automation are required.
  • Knowledge of DevOps/SysOps, object-oriented and MVC principles, software development life-cycle, and best practices is preferred.
  • Previous agency experience and familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies are advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effectively communicating technical topics and understanding business rules within the team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective team communication and understanding business rules.
