Description:
- Halo Media is seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails Engineer to join their dynamic team.
- The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Responsibilities include implementing and optimizing databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- The engineer will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Conducting automated testing using RSpec and Capybara is part of the job.
- Collaboration with design, product, and QA teams is essential to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- The engineer will also troubleshoot and enhance application performance.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have proven experience with Ruby on Rails, with a minimum of 3 years.
- A strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React or Vue.js is a plus) is required.
- Experience with version control systems like Git is necessary.
- Familiarity with continuous deployment tools such as Heroku, AWS, and Docker is a plus.
- The ability to work in a team and adapt to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
